How it works
Short, on-demand lessons
Typically 15–30 minutes. A student asks for help, you take the request if you are free. There is no timetable to keep.
You choose when
Set the windows you are available. No minimum hours, and no penalty for a quiet week.
In the browser
Video and a shared whiteboard, nothing to install. Lessons are recorded — students and families know that, and so do you.
You know who you are teaching
Before every lesson you see that student’s learner profile: how much challenge suits them, what makes things click, what they have been getting wrong.
Maths first
New Zealand school-age students, Years 1 to NCEA. Other subjects follow once maths is working properly.
Registered teachers only
Every loop teacher is a registered New Zealand teacher with a current practising certificate. We check both against the Teaching Council register.
